This Halloween half-term, we brought a bit of spooky magic to Red Bank with our family-friendly pop-up cinema: Fright Night at Arch 19 in Red Bank. Families piled in for a cosy evening of laughs, light scares, and 90s nostalgia as we screened the cult classic Hocus Pocus under a canopy of cobwebs and candlelight.

Setting the spooky scene.

Arch 19 was transformed for the night - think spiders, bats, cobwebs, and autumn leaves everywhere you looked. Guests entered through a spooky walkway before heading down to the candle-lit cinema screen, before heading down to the candle-lit cinema screen for the main event. Kids and parents showed up in costume, snacks in hand, ready for a night of Halloween fun.

Cosy seats, free treats, and a little mischief.

Couches, deckchairs, beanbags, and blankets set the scene for the perfect movie night. Everyone got a free Halloween snack pack filled with popcorn, sweets, and drinks, because no spooky screening is complete without snacks. There were a few cheeky jump scares and plenty of giggles, keeping the little ones entertained and the grown-ups grinning.

A free night of Halloween fun for the community.

Like most of our events, Fright Night was completely free, giving families an easy way to get out and make the most of the Half Term - a chance to get the spooky spirit and celebrate Halloween together.
