Found Summer Social. 05/09/26
Back for round two.
After last year’s Summer Social, we knew we had to bring it back.
So on Saturday 5th September, Red Bank Courtyard and the arches filled up with residents, neighbours, local independents and plenty of familiar faces for an afternoon of food, drinks, music and everything in between.
By the afternoon, Red Bank was properly buzzing - people filling the courtyard, moving between the arches and getting stuck into everything going on.
Found + Friends by name, and very much by nature.
Come hungry.
There was plenty to choose from.
The Spärrows, Half Dozen Other, Super8 Pizza, Brasa, Rizzo and Suzume were all serving throughout the afternoon, bringing everything from pizza by the slice and Brazilian BBQ to pastries, arancini and sake pairings.
Drinks were covered too, with Blackjack Brewery, Finders Keepers and Red Arch keeping things flowing throughout the day.
With so much happening across the courtyard and arches, there was always something new to try.
Plenty to get involved with.
Beyond the food and drink, loads were happening throughout Red Bank.
Studio Dawn joined us with family crafts and their pop-up, while free face painting was a big hit with some of our younger visitors.
The outdoor games were back too; DJs kept the music going throughout the afternoon, and deck chairs, benches and beanbags gave everyone somewhere to settle in and enjoy it all.
Families got involved, friends caught up over food and drinks, and plenty of people stayed far longer than they probably planned to.
Exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted.
A greener Red Bank.
We also welcomed PlantMCR, who spent the day creating new planters for Red Bank.
While the courtyard was busy with food, music, and everything else, something new was taking shape for the neighbourhood too.
The planters will stay in Red Bank long after Summer Social, adding a bit more greenery to a place that keeps growing and changing.
Found + Friends. Exactly that.
Summer Social is one of those days that shows Red Bank at its best.
The businesses based here opened their doors, local independents joined us for the day, tables filled up and people moved between the courtyard and arches from afternoon into early evening.
Residents met neighbours. Friends brought friends. New faces discovered businesses they might not have known were here before.
That’s exactly what Found + Friends is about.
Bringing people together, supporting the independents already doing great things here and giving everyone another reason to spend time in this part of Manchester.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to every business, trader, creative and partner who helped make the day what it was.
Found + Friends 2026, what a day.
See you at the next one.
