March is all about uplifting the community of women. In honour of International Women’s Month, BlackOwned Studios is hosting a series of inspiring events, bringing people together through art, wine, creativity, and connection.

Upcoming Events:

Friday, 14th March | 2 PM - 9 PM – "Creating Through Pain" – In collaboration with @ourppls and @akanji.studio, this NHS Sickle Cell Exhibition highlights the power of creativity in transforming pain into strength. Visitors will also have the opportunity to sign up as blood donors with @givebloodnhs.

Saturday, 15th March | 7 PM - 9 PM – "Wine Yourself Up" – The much-loved @toniswineclub returns for a Women’s Month special! Guests will celebrate Black Woman-Owned Wines, learn expert tasting tips, and take part in engaging challenges at this vibrant wine social.

Wednesday, 26th March | 6 PM - 8 PM – "Kyami’s Craft Club" – A creative space led by multidisciplinary artist @kyami_world. Attendees can learn a new skill, connect with other creative women, and explore their artistic side in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Friday, 29th March | 3 PM - 6 PM – "Nailed It! DIY Press-On Nail Social" – Hosted by international manicurist @ellafrancesgordan, this hands-on workshop guides participants through designing and applying their own press-on nails, all while socializing with the sisterhood.

Saturday, 30th March | 12 PM - 1 PM – Book Club – In partnership with @thebookhivemcr, this month’s discussion explores Allow Me to Introduce Myself by Onyi Nwabineli, delving into themes of identity, self-discovery, and personal growth.

Coming solo? No worries, most attendees do too! These events are all about community, creativity, and connection.
