The Red Bank Arch party. 7/09/24
Putting the neighbourhood on the map.
The Red Bank Arch party was a great event that brought together our community, and new visitors, to celebrate the Red Bank Viaduct neighbourhood, and the operators who call the neighbourhood home, along with some other local favourites from across Greater Manchester. With a lively mix of vendors pop-ups, and music from DJs and live singers, this event captured the perfect balance of relaxation and celebration. Set in the heart of the neighbourhood, it was the perfect opportunity to showcase the area's vibrant and diverse offerings, creating an atmosphere that truly felt like a homegrown festival.
Local Vendors.
The Red Bank Arch Party was a feast for the senses, thanks to an incredible line-up of local vendors serving up some mega food and drink. Half Dozen Other drew a crowd with their creative take on BBQ, blending traditional flavours with unique twists, and treating guests to a selection of delicious pastries. Green Arches Brewery not only served up freshly poured pints, but also heated up their oven to create amazing stone-baked, Sicilian-style pizzas. Good Food Guide 2024 favourites, The Sparrows, made a significant impact by crafting something truly special that showcased their award-winning dishes. The Stockport-based Wineboys added to the fun, serving an impressive selection of wines and craft beers, while Bruk kept the cocktails flowing. Each vendor added its own touch, making the Red Bank Arch Party a truly memorable showcase of local food and drink talent.
Red Bank neighbourhood.
Other local businesses were also here for the party, including Black Owned (Manchester’s only Afro beauty co-working space, beauty marketplace, and event venue) and Heads (Manchester’s top creative agency). Both businesses created a socialising environment for people to connect, exchange ideas, and explore the endless possibilities within Manchester’s growing creative scene. Black Owned attracted participants through its commitment to uplifting Black-owned businesses and beauty entrepreneurs, while Heads provided a venue for networking and creative exchange, motivating attendees to collaborate across industries and honour Manchester's rich diversity of talent.
Music.
Three talented DJs (Jamie Anne, Jake Rowbottom and Shadev) kept the energy high throughout the day, each bringing their own sound to the celebration. The music created a perfect backdrop, with upbeat sets ranging from funky house tunes to laid-back, soulful beats, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. Families, friends and people of all ages socialised and connected, while the kids danced and played in the open space. The sound of laughter and conversation filled the air, blending with the beats of the music to create a warm and welcoming vibe that encouraged people to stay.
Thank you.
The event felt like a celebration of not only the summer season but of our community itself; the people, the creativity, and the connection that binds us together. It was an unforgettable evening, uniting food, creativity, and community in one dynamic space. We hope to see you all at the next one.
